This listing is for an original, custom portrait drawn with pen and ink by hand.

I will create a one-of-a-kind 9” x 12” painting on watercolour paper. Illustration has a 3/4" white border all around.
Not only do you choice who I will illustrate but you can also decide on the location in the background. Are you in Paris, is it a view from your home, is it an imaginary grand palace? You decide.

How it works:

Purchase the listing, then send photos via etsy message.
Tell me about your specific location, elements you love (bats, spiders, chandeliers...), architectural detail or fashion element you'd like me to include. Send any reference photos you have in mind. For the people I will illustrate try to find photos that show a good representation of hairstyle and face shape.

Please send the following:
- A few photos of the people or pets that you would like included
- Tell me the approximate heights of everyone
- Style of clothing, accessories - if you have any preferences. I usual gather my inspiration from Edward Gorey's work. Classy 1920s style. Men in suits and women in gowns or dresses.
- Do you want me to include a family name (example "The Zanforlins") or individual names (pets too?)? I put these into the branches.
- Any background references or details that you may think are important

You'll receive a sketch via etsy conversation. You'll have the opportunity to request any changes.

Portrait will be ready to ship to you in 2-3 weeks.
